"Journalism is more than a job; it is a duty to tell the truth. At JMA, we make sure that our journalists never have to stand alone when they face problems."

Dear Colleagues and Friends,

We started the Journalist & Media Association (JMA) with one main goal: to protect those who work hard to find and report the truth. Today, the world of media is changing very fast, and journalists are facing many new challenges. From digital changes to threats in their work, our profession is under a lot of pressure.

Through JMA and our JMAGC (Journalist and Media Association Grievance Council), we have built a national support system. The JMAGC is a registered Self-Regulatory Body (SRB) that follows the government's IT Rules, 2021. It helps protect the ethical standards and safety of every member.

Whether you work for a big TV channel or run a small news portal in a village, JMA is your home. We are here to listen to your voice and fight for your rights.

We will keep working to make sure you have legal safety and professional growth. We want to ensure that the respect for Indian journalism stays strong. I invite all media professionals to join us as we work together for a better and fairer future.
